To provide another avenue of communication; to keep our members informed of current events; provide information not set forth in our monthly newsletter; to help grow our membership; and promote the purposes of the Loyal Order of Moose.
WHAT IS A MOOSE?
Founded in 1888, the fraternal organization known as the Loyal Order of Moose boasts membership of nearly 1 million men in about 2,000 lodges. Membership not only hails from all 50 states, but also from Canada, Great Britain and Bermuda!
The Loyal Order of Moose is involved with many charities including:Mooseheart Child City & School, and Moosehaven. Moose Lodges also perform roughly $50 million worth of community servicea year. The lodges not only make monetary donations to their communities, but also make donations in the form of physically volunteering for their communities.
Individual lodges also get involved with their communities in the spirit of fraternity by volunteering for and coordinating many sports and recreational activities for and within their communities.
